Overview

Credit Trifecta LLC ("we", "us") helps you find the credit cards that best reward your spending by analyzing your transaction history. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Credit Trifecta you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Account information: when you create an account or make a purchase, we collect basic details such as your email address.

Financial transaction data: when you connect a financial institution through Plaid, we receive transaction details (such as merchant, amount, date, and category) needed to run your simulation. We do not receive or store your online banking credentials — those are handled by Plaid.

Payment information: purchases are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your credit card number.

Usage and analytics information: to operate and improve the service, we collect first-party analytics about how the site is used. This includes the pages you view, the site that referred you, any campaign parameters in the link you arrived from, your browser type (user agent) and device category (such as mobile, tablet, or desktop), and an approximate location (country and city) that our content delivery network derives from your IP address. We do not store your full IP address. This activity is tied to a random identifier stored in a first-party cookie, and to your account if you are signed in.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to run your reward simulation, generate and deliver your report, process purchases and refunds, provide support, and maintain the security and reliability of the service.

We also use transaction data to research and improve our reward modeling, card coverage, and simulation accuracy. We do not sell your transaction data, or provide it to any outside vendor.

Cookies and Analytics

We use a small number of first-party cookies to run the site: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a visitor cookie containing a random identifier we use to measure site usage.

Our analytics are first-party — the data described above is collected and stored by us to understand and improve the service. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking networks, and we do not sell this data. Analytics records are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Bank Connections via Plaid

We use Plaid Inc. to securely connect to your financial institution. Your use of Plaid is governed by Plaid’s own privacy policy. We request read-only access solely to retrieve the transactions needed for your analysis.

Data Retention

Your transaction data and the report we generate are stored in our secure cloud storage to run your simulation, make your report available to you, and to research and improve the platform. We never sell your transactions.

You may request deletion of your stored transaction data and report at any time by contacting us.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal or financial information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the service (such as Plaid for bank connectivity and our payment processor), and only as needed to provide the service or as required by law.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and limit retention to what is necessary.

Your Choices and Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

Children's Privacy

Credit Trifecta is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the service.
